All host families accepted by EEC organisation have been visited and interviewed by our local representative. Students are placed with a family who live close to the High School. All families are provided with guidelines detailing their obligations and responsibilities to the young people in their care. The majority of host families are parents themselves and may still have young children and teenagers living at home.
All host families must agree to police vetting.
Host families will be issued details of their student at least 10 days before their arrival.
The host family will ensure that the student has the correct uniform for their first day at school.
A host family member will accompany the student on their first day at school.
