Introduction to English Exchange Ireland
English Exchange Ireland is a company based in Cork that welcomes students from all over Europe placing them in Colaiste Muire, High School Crosshaven. This programme is organised for students between the ages of 13 and 18 who wish to study in Ireland, live with an Irish family, learn English at the same time continuing their studies. The EEC Exchange Programme is both cultural and academic in its nature.
Colaiste Muire has been carefully selected based on its performance as an educational institute. The school enjoys and fosters a friendly, open and caring relationship between staff and students on all issues concerning individual development and progress. All host families are interviewed and from information provided from students re hobbies and interests, EEC endeavours to ensure that each student is placed with a family with whom they share common ground.
Students participating in EEC programme are enrolled in Colaiste Muire school and stay with a host family. The learning benefits are clear with the interaction with Irish students, teachers and the host family leads to the strengthening of English Language proficiency.
